MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 23, 2013 <br />The final topic of discussion would be the goal to "Increase Community <br />Involvement — Diversity" to better define what that goal means. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -1 -14 — CALLING A WORKSHOP FOR <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2013, AT 6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW <br />RENTAL HOUSING LICENSING PROGRAM, MN PASS <br />MUNICIPAL CONSENT, AND 2013 GOALS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2013 The City Administrator reported that proposed 2013 Improvements <br />IMPROVEMENTS include the improvement of Spruce Street (Country Drive to railroad) by <br />full reconstruction and the improvement of Little Canada Road (35E to <br />Edgerton Street) by rehabilitation. A neighborhood meeting was held with <br />the property owners impacted by the Spruce Street project and another is <br />scheduled with those property owners impacted by the Little Canada Road <br />project. The Administrator recommended that the Council schedule the <br />improvement hearings for these two projects. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -1 -15 — AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF <br />FEASIBILITY REPORTS, ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORTS, <br />AND CALLING FOR IMPROVEMENT HEARINGS AS FOLLOWS: <br />TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2013 <br />5:00 P.M. — SPRUCE STREET (FROM COUNTRY DRIVE TO <br />THE RAILROAD BY FULL RECONSTRUCTION; <br />5:45 P.M. — LITTLE CANADA ROAD (FROM 35E TO <br />EDGERTON STREET BY REHABILITATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COSTS The City Administrator reviewed his report dated January 18, 2013 <br />FOR BURYING outlining the cost estimates for burying power lines along Little Canada <br />POWERLINES — from 35E to Edgerton Street. The estimated cost for burying the entire <br />LITTLE stretch is $835,000. Breaking that down by segment results in the <br />6 <br />
