OLD FIRE STATION NAME OPTIONS:
PUBLIC WORKS ANNEX
PARKS & RECREATION ANNEX
PUBLIC WORKS /PARKS & RECREATION ANNEX AND GENERAL ASSEMBLY AREA
(THE BUILDING FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE OLD FIRE STATION)
THE ANNEX
FIRE STATION #1
YE OLDE FIRE STATION
440 LITTLE CANADA ROAD
THE BUILDING NEXT TO THE CEMETARY
THE BUILDING IN FRONT OF THE MARYHOUSE
THE FIREHOUSE
n n n n„ r1
BUILDING USE POLICY
The following guidelines are intended to govern the use of the
Public Works Annex by non -City entities. It is to be understood
that any City functions will have first priority for use of the
facilities in question. Regularly scheduled, non -City uses would
have the second priority. All other uses would be on a first -
come, first - served basis, subject to staff determination.
* The areas of the building to which access would be
granted are limited to the lower level, including
kitchen and restroom facilities. Access to other areas
of the Building is to be allowed only with specific
permission by City staff.
* Access to the Public Works Annex is limited to adult -
based, non - profit groups with a civic purpose and
community benefit. Access is not allowed to groups
created for private benefit or gain, or groups which
are merely "social" in nature. Examples of approved
groups would be as follows:
Canadian Days Committee;
Little Canada Fire Department;
Little Canada Historical Society;
Little Canada Recreation Association;
Other Groups of which the City is a member and /or
may be hosting a meeting.
Page 20
