Hanson <br />I have surveyed the surrounding cities with regard to their <br />ordinances regulating the placement of air conditioning <br />equipment. Below is a summary of that survey: <br />Arden Hills - Allows the placement of air conditioning <br />equipment in the required side yard setback. Such equipment <br />must be a minimum of 2 feet from the property line. <br />Falcon Heights - Cannot be placed in the required side yard <br />setback. However, Falcon Heights have a 5 -foot minimum side <br />yard setback. <br />Maplewood - Can be placed in the required side yard setback, <br />right up to the property line. <br />North St. Paul - Can be placed in the required side yard <br />setback, right up to the property line. <br />Roseville - Can be placed in the required side yard setback, <br />right up to the property line. <br />Shoreview - Did not return my call. <br />Vadnais Heights - Did not return my call. <br />Page 4 <br />
