Community gathering space use of the former Fire Hall located south of Little <br />Canada Road and east of McMenemy Street. <br />2. A ± 2,000 square foot addition to the existing City Hall located north of Little <br />Canada Road and east of Noel Drive. <br />Additionally, we have explored issues involved in pursuing off -site or joint parking facilities <br />for the aforementioned uses. <br />FORMER FIRE HALL <br />Parking Demand. Approximately 2,230 square feet of the lower level of the former Fire <br />Hall is to be used for "community gatherings ". According to the Uniform Building Code, <br />assembly spaces such as that in question are allowed a maximum occupancy of one <br />person per 15 square feet (or 149 persons). <br />According to the City's Zoning Ordinance, the following parking standard is applied to <br />churches, theaters, and auditoriums, and considered applicable to the use in question: <br />At least one (1) parking space for each three (3) seats based on the design <br />capacity of the main assembly hall.
