INTRODUCTION <br />RESIDENT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />This is your home. When you take possession of it you assume definite responsibility for <br />its care and maintenance. This includes everything from day -to -day housecleaning (proper <br />care of appliances and removal of rubbish) to following the necessary rules of community <br />living. These responsibilities are spelled out in the Lease and are further explained in this <br />Handbook. <br />MANAGEMENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />It is management's responsibility to protect the rights of all residents living in the <br />community. <br />In many situations, special conditions pertaining to both the responsibility of the property <br />owner and the management agent are further explained in your Lease. If you have any <br />questions, check your Lease or the various sections of the "HOUSE RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS" Handbook as the answers you are seeking will probably be explained in <br />one or the other. If you cannot find the answer, contact the management staff as they will <br />be happy to help you. <br />Additionally, the management staff is to maintain your apartment in such a condition that <br />all health and safety standards are met. This may include mandatory pest control and <br />maintenance repairs. Please notify the Office as to any maintenance or pest problems you <br />may encounter. <br />O141•10E HOURS <br />Hours have been established to provide service coverage during the normal working day. <br />If you have an emergency and no one is in the Office, please feel free to call our <br />Emergency Service Phone Number listed on the front page.
