19. Assure that clean fill will be placed in excavated area to match surrounding grade and seeding of disturbed <br />areas will be done within the allotted timeframe. <br />20. All materials resulting from demolition or removal shall become the Contractor's property, except as <br />specified hereinafter. It shall become the Contractor's option to salvage any of the demolition materials <br />provided that all work and operations are conducted in a lawful manner and the work is not delayed beyond <br />the completion date specified. All debris, refuse, or other items must be removed from the work site upon <br />completion of the project, and disposed of in an approved landfill or in some other manner acceptable to the <br />City and in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws. <br />21. The City represents to the best of its knowledge that there are no hazardous substances involved with the <br />listed property. However, should the Contractor encounter any such condition, they are to immediately <br />notify the City for further direction. <br />22. The bidders shall examine the building and site closely and shall note by their signature on the bid form that <br />they have done so. <br />23. The following structure is to be demolished. The price submitted must encompass all costs. The award will <br />be considered based on the lowest responsible bid.
