III. PERMIT <br />If a party will use the building for only a short term, such as a day or evening, <br />there should be a permit application procedure with rules regulating the use of the <br />building. <br />IV. WRITTEN AGREEMENTS FOR LEASE OR USE OF BUILDING <br />A. Repairs <br />Which party will be responsible for construction of major repairs to the <br />building? Will the other party contribute financial support for such <br />repairs? If so, how much? <br />B. Maintenance <br />Which party will maintain the building? Be sure to also consider <br />supporting areas such as parking lots and sidewalks. <br />C. Supervision of Activities <br />Who is responsible for supervising the specific activities in the building? <br />Who hires the people in charge of the activity? <br />D. Liability <br />Determine how liability will be handled and then put in defense and <br />indemnification provisions to reflect the relationship. <br />E. Insurance <br />There are many possible types of insurance involved. The parties should <br />decide whose insurance will cover the different risks involved: <br />1.
