Joel Hanson <br />June 4, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br />I know that you, as an elected official, like myself, want to have <br />the facts in front of you before you make a decision on spending <br />taxpayers dollars and making decisions that affect the residents in <br />our communities. <br />I realize Sheriff Fletcher has sent you a letter and has stated he <br />is willing to come out and talk to you regarding this issue, <br />however, the new County Board has not even had a presentation on <br />any of the sites. I feel we must wait until that time before we <br />have these discussions. The Sheriff is a member of the study group <br />looking at the sites; his responsibility is to provide the input <br />from his department to the group for the presentation which will be <br />presented to the County Board on June 24, 1997.
