612- 321 -4833 MINNEGSSCO HR <br />Standards Mgr Placement <br />The placement of wireless telecommunications <br />poles on County owned property must meet the <br />requirements: <br />a. All towers, poles or any other structures built to support <br />an antenna on County land must be designed to accommodate <br />co- location of multiple antennas. Revenue from all <br />additional antennas is credited to Ramsey County. <br />f. The telecommunications provider agrees to a lease <br />agreement which includes equitable compensation for the <br />use of public land based on the market, sufficient to <br />cover potential expenses, risks to the County, and other <br />appropriate factors. <br />g. The telecommunications,provider agrees to a lease <br />agreement which includes indemnification and insurance <br />requirements acceptable to the Ramsey County Risk Manager <br />and that are sufficient and appropriate to protect the <br />County's interest. <br />h. Antennas, towers, poles or any other structure built to <br />support an antenna will be screened from view and /or <br />camouflaged appropriately to blend in with their <br />surroundings. (Example: ARCNET's White Pine 'Tree' Tower.) <br />i. Upon reasonable notice, the antennas, towers, or poles may <br />be required to be removed at the user's expense, <br />consistent with the lease agreement. <br />j. All non - functional antennas, towers, and poles must be <br />removed within 90 days of the date operations are ceased <br />regardless of lease arrangements. In such case, the lease <br />will continue until all equipment is removed. Reclamation <br />and closure of the site must meet with the County's <br />approval. <br />k. The telecommunications provider must reimburse the County <br />for any costs which the County incurs because of the <br />Page 37 <br />
