MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 4,1997 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of September, <br />1997 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 East Little Canada Road in <br />said City. <br />Karen Johnson chaired and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mrs. Karen Johnson, Chair <br />Mr. Howard Remerowski <br />Ms. Kathy Smith <br />Mr. Roger Christensen <br />Ms. Muriel Bianchi <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Ms. Ginger Sackett Glaser <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director <br />Ms. Kris VanSchoonhoven, Recording Secretary <br />MINUTES Remerowski recommended that the minutes of the August 21, 1997 meeting be approved as <br />presented. <br />Motion seconded by Bianchi. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />JOHNSON <br />PROPERTY <br />DIVISION <br />Mr. Robert Johnson of 45 Demont Avenue West was present to discuss a proposed lot split <br />of his property. He stated that he want to split off his back lot in order to sell it. He stated <br />that his address is 45 Demont Avenue West not 43 Demont Avenue West as was indicated <br />on the agenda. The Director stated that he saw no need to obtain a land dedication in that <br />area. Therefore, his recommendation was cash. <br />Remerowski recommended accepting cash in lieu of land for the park dedication fee for the <br />Johnson property division on Demont Avenue. <br />Motion seconded by Bianchi. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Page 10 <br />
