MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 28, 2013 <br />*APPROVING A PARTIAL PAY REQUEST FOR T. A. SCHIFSKY <br />FOR 2012 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECTS AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PINETREE The City Administrator reported that he has received a 100% petition <br />POND.- from Masterpiece Homes requesting that the City assess 100% of infra - <br />429 PROCESS structure costs for Pinetree Pond on a short duration (3 to 5 years). The <br />Administrator noted that given the petition was signed by 100% of the <br />property owners involved, a public hearing to consider the improvement is <br />not required. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -2 -34 — DECLARING ADEQUACY OF THE <br />PETITION FOR PINETREE POND IMPROVEMENTS AND <br />ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />WEB SITE The City Administrator reported that there has been discussion at Goal <br />ENHANCEMENTS Setting Sessions relative to updating the City's web site. He noted that the <br />web site was first put in place in September of 2001 as a beta -site for <br />GovOffice. Since that time, there have not been any significant changes to <br />its design or content. The web site is a key communication tool for the <br />City; therefore, the Administrator felt it important to keep it updated and <br />fresh in appearance. <br />The Administrator reported that he has a proposal from Avenet Web <br />Solutions (aka GovOffice) for a custom graphic web design package in the <br />amount of $2,000. This package will provide the City with three picture <br />banners (5 photos each), a liquid display, background color, choice of <br />search box placement, as well as roll over and split navigation. Additional <br />banners could be purchased for $400 each and would provide the <br />capability for Canadian Days, the Little Canada Fire Department, Little <br />Canada Recreation Association, and the Little Canada Historical Society <br />to have unique pages within our web site at a dramatically lower cost than <br />creating their own website.
