Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaVale
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
TO: Mayor Fahey & Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: April 5, 1996
RE: Next Step for Historical Society Addition to City Hall
In a separate area of the agenda packet is the information
relative to an evaluation of the Little Canada Historical
Society. Depending on the outcome of the workshop meeting,
authorization of the feasibility study for the Historical Society
addition to City Hall may need to be revisited. If that is the
case, I would remind the Council that we had two proposals for
this service. They were as follows:
* Paul Finsness Architects - $3,650 plus reimbursable
expenses at 105% of actual amount.
* Boarman, Krose, Pfister, Rudin & Associates, Inc.
(BKPR) - Hourly rates to a maximum of $5,600 plus
reimbursable expenses.
If the feasibility proposal is to proceed, I would again
recommend that BKPR be retained based on their proposal as
submitted given their track record with this building. It is
likely that the study will take four to six weeks to complete.
JRH:kpv
Page 31
