He confirmed that any <br />actions proposed by this group would still need to come back before the Council. <br />Malone asked if a new Executive Team is created each year and whether the city could choose to <br />exit the organization if the direction moves in a way it does not support. <br />The City Administrator confirmed that he believed the Executive Team would change each year, <br />and it changed from Phase I to Phase II. He stated that if the city does have a different opinion, <br />they could discuss that on the Council level and choose not to continue to participate. <br />Mayor Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2026-6-94 — AUTHOR►ZING THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA TO <br />PARTICIPATE IN THE NONPARTISAN COALITION CITIES FOR SAFE AND STABLE <br />COMMUNITIES PHASE Ih COORDINATED RESPONSE MODEL FOR AN INITIAL 12- <br />MONTH CONTRACT, WITH THE FUNDING TO BE PROVIDED FROM THE COUNCIL <br />CONTINGENCY FUND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Miller. <br />Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Kwapick provided an update on the most recent quarterly meeting of the Ramsey County League <br />of Local Governments. <br />Miller commented that he attended the monthly webinar of the Ramsey County League of Local <br />Governments and the Metropolitan Council. <br />Mayor Fischer provided updates on meetings he attended, including the Cities for Safe and <br />Stable Communities, the Roseville Schools Superintendent, the Touch a Truck event, and the <br />Metro Cities Board meeting. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, upon motion by Kwapick, seconded by Miller, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 8:27 p.m. <br />RECONVENE AS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />President Fischer called the Little Canada Economic Development Authority meeting to order at <br />8:27 p.m. <br />UPDATE ON CONDIT STREET AREA REDEVELOPMENT PROGRESS & ENGAGEMENT <br />EFFORTS <br />The Community Development Director provided information on the surveying of community <br />members that has been occurring, along with site analysis that the consultants have been <br />completing. <br />5 <br />
