<br />• Review and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding requests for <br />legislative resolutions of support; <br />• Review legislative materials, including policy requests, bonding materials, and <br />overall city legislative documents; <br />• Review the annual legislative calendar of events; <br />• Represent the city with the legislature, candidates, legislative functions, and <br />necessary testimony at the capital; <br />• Serve as an advisory forum for discussion of legislative policy approaches; <br />• Bring forth all necessary items to the City Council for formal approval and support <br /> <br />Source Of Funds: <br />Possible Council Contingency funds, for possible expenses that are not currently budgeted <br />for 2026. It is anticipated that costs will be minimal and may be absorbed by the <br />Administration department budget. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />• Approve the Resolution to formalize the Little Canada Legislative Committee <br />• Approve Mayor Tom Fischer and Council Member Chris Kwapick to the Legislative <br />Committee for the remainder of 2026 <br />Attachments: <br />• Resolution <br />
