people park on the lake side of the street to fish at the
adjacent creek even though there are posted signs. So
enforcement will become an issue. Is the City willing to
enforce? Safe walking and biking are our top priority.
My children and their families park there some times when
they use the lake or when I have other company and the
driveway is full.
Install stop sign on Lakeside Court and Keller Parkway,
and /or strictly enforce speed limit at all times.
We feel what was the point in putting a walking area on the
new road if cars are then allowed to park over it. It would
again make the road around the lake unsafe for walkers, etc.
I have a short driveway with very little parking. I have
six children. Five of them drive. To visit their father
they would have to make an appointment so I could ask the
City if my children could come and visit.
Aside from my parking concerns are speeding vehicles.
The City is not in business to monitor parking permits. I
do not want my taxes doing this.
Because of the hills on this side of the lake we have little
parking. How many streets are there where residents cannot
park in front of their own home? I think the Keller
residents have had enough taken from them. What problem
does this solve?
The speed which cars travel is more of a problem than the
parking.
Page 40
