Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
RE: Little Canada - Architectural Guidelines
FILE NO: 802
Dear Joel:
This letter is intended to serve as an estimate of consulting work on the extension of
Architectural Guidelines to other areas of the City. The format and information used in the
development of the Rice Street/Little Canada Road guidelines will serve as a base for this
project. The process would entail work with the Planning Commission at their regular
meetings, discussing the elements listed in the original document, and deleting, amending,
or keeping those elements appropriate to other areas.
The Planning Commission expressed an interest in extending the architectural controls to
the rest of the Rice Street corridor, as well as the business zoned areas along Little
Canada Road and County Road C. it was their intention that a single additional set of
controls would cover these areas, rather than further divide the community into sub -
districts. The Commission also suggested that no additional controls are necessary for the
industrial park, nor should any separate controls be established for residential
development.
I would estimate our time on this project to be as follows:
Task: Preparation of materials for Planning Commission review:
Task: Attendance at Planning Commission regular meeting:
Tooke Meeting follow -up, preparation of draft document:
Task: Attendance at Planning Commission regular meeting:
Task: Meeting follow -up, preparation of final document:
Task: Final printing, document assembly, and clerical:
Time summary:
12 hours © $65 /hour -
4 hours © $30 /hour -
Total time charges:
Cost of printing expenses:
Total project charges:
$ 780.00
$ 120.00
$ 900.00
,$ 270.00
$1,170.00
3 hours
(no add'I charge)
6 hours
(no add'I charge)
3 hours
4 hours
5775 Wayzata Blvd. • Suite 555 • St. Louis Park, MN 55416 • (612) 595- 9636•Fax. 595 -9837
Page 76
