AMENDMENT TO LITTLE CANADA REFUSE SERVICE CONTRACT <br />This document dated 1996 shall serve as an amendment to the <br />Little Canada Refuse Service Contract between the City of Little Canada, herein referred to as <br />"City," and Woodlake Sanitary Service, Inc., Gene's Disposal, Inc., Bellaire Sanitation, Inc., <br />and Joe Horrigan Hauling, herein referred to collectively as "Contractor," dated November 24, <br />1995. The pricing set forth herein shall take effect on January 1, 1997. Current pricing and <br />all other provisions of the original contract shall remain in effect until that date. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has contracted with the Contractor for refuse service; and <br />WHEREAS, all participants wish to make changes to the contract; <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed to modify the Little Canada Refuse Service <br />Contract between the City and Contractor as follows: <br />I. Section 1.a. and b. on pages 1 and 2 shall be deleted. The following wording <br />shall be substituted in its place: <br />"1. Term. This Contract shall be in full force and effect for the period <br />beginning January 1, 1997 and ending December 31, 2001." <br />II. Section 9.a. on page 8 shall be amended to read: <br />"Collection Service. The resident owner shall pay the Contractor one price for <br />refuse collection service, and one price for recyclable collection service as <br />outlined in Attachment "A ". The residential dwelling unit price is not subject <br />to revision until January 1, 1999 and no modifications to pricing may be made <br />until that time except in the event an increase in tipping fees of greater than <br />10% occurs. If such an event occurs, the Contractor and City shall review the <br />circumstances and address the fees in a mutually agreeable manner. <br />The following provisions of Section 9. are suspended until January 1, 1999: <br />(1) The residential dwelling unit price may be subject to revision effective <br />January 1 of each year upon request of the Contractor, with increases or <br />-1- <br />Page 121 <br />
