leave to the same maximum allowed to other employees. <br />Administration of sick leave benefits shall be subject to Section <br />13 of the City's Personnel Policy. <br />6. HOLIDAYS. The City will provide to Tangen the same standard <br />holidays as enjoyed by other employees as set forth in Little <br />Canada's Personnel Policy under Section 13. <br />7. INSURANCE. The City will pay the cost of hospital and <br />medical insurance for Tangen and dependents in the same manner <br />provided for other employees pursuant to Section 12 of the City's <br />Personnel Policy. Tangen may also participate in the "Opt -Out" <br />program as provided for in the City's Personnel Policy pursuant <br />to Section 12. The City will provide Tangen the same group life <br />insurance coverage that is provided to all other City employees <br />through Public Employees Retirement Association. The City <br />further agrees to provide Tangen with long -term disability <br />coverage effective February 1, 1996 in a manner consistent with <br />other employees. The cost of long -term disability coverage is <br />Tangen's responsibility. <br />8. DUES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS. The City agrees to budget and pay <br />the professional dues and subscriptions for Tangen which are <br />necessary for his continued participation in national, regional, <br />state and local associations necessary and desirable for his <br />continued professional participation, growth and advancement and <br />for the good of the City.
