F. Human Rights <br />1. The Grantee, in the conduct of the Project, shall comply with the American <br />with Disabilities Act of 1990 (P.L. 100 -136); Minnesota Statutes Ch. 363 <br />(the Minnesota Human Rights Act), and Minnesota Statutes Section 181.59- <br />60 which forbid discriminatory practices . and provide for affirmative <br />action; and all applicable rules and subsequent amendments. <br />The Grantee shall provide the State with evidence that it has received a <br />certificate of compliance from the Commissioner of Human Rights pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes Section 363.073, or is exempt from said statute. <br />2. The Grantee in the conduct of the project shall comply with the provisions <br />for workers compensation in Minnesota Statutes, Section 176.181 Subd. 1 <br />and Section 176.182 (1994). <br />G. General Conditions: <br />1. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This Agreement shall be in effect on the date of encumbrance of the funds <br />and shall remain in effect until June 30, 1997 or until all obligations set <br />forth in this Grant have been satisfactorily fulfilled, whichever is later. <br />2. TERMINATION <br />This Agreement may be terminated by the Grantor for cause at any time <br />upon seven (7) days written notice to the Grantee. Cause shall mean a <br />material breach of this Agreement and any supplemental agreements or <br />amendments thereto. <br />This Agreement may also be terminated by the Grantor in the event that the <br />legislature no longer appropriates monies for the Project Proposal. <br />This Agreement may also be terminated by the Grantor or the Grantee at <br />any time with or without cause upon thirty (30) days' written notice to the <br />other party. <br />3. OBLIGATION OF FUNDS <br />Those funds not expended, obligated, or encumbered toward the Project <br />Proposal by May 31, 1997 shall be returned to the Grantor for return to the <br />appropriate fund as provided by law. <br />Page 18 <br />
