Letter dated 10/23/96 to the City of Little Canada, continued. Page 2 of 3
* Our retail showroom would be located in the front part of the building,
with the following products on display.
15 -20 pool tables 4 -6 foosball tables 15 -20 billiard lights
2 -4 air hockey tables 10 -15 portable spas 10 -15 whirlpool baths
40 -60 bar stools, spectator chairs and dining chairs for game tables.
Filters, heaters, chemicals, parts and accessories for swimming pools.
• The retail business requires a large storage area for slate pool tables,
foosball tables, air hockey tables, game room furniture, portable spas,
whirlpool baths, swimming pool kits and the related accessories. Our
other retail stores will get product from these storage facilities also.
* Our retail business requires the operating displays of several above
ground swimming pools for successful retail sales. At two of our other
stores we have outdoor displays of pools. At one of our stores we
have the pools on display in the basement area of the store.
* We prefer to avoid a pool liner leakage problem inside of this store,
where we will have billiard tables and furniture on the same floor level.
Thousands of dollars in water damages, may occur to our showroom
displays, office equipment and floor carpeting, should one of the vinyl
pool liners on a operating display pool leak or break.
P.U.D. request for a screened fence enclosure for our operating
swimming pool displays, in a portion of parking lot area.
* We are requesting your permission to install a 8' high fence enclosure
along the side of building to screen our operating displays of above-
ground swimming pools and large spas. This screened fence enclosure
would be a close match in color to the existing building. Light grey
color to match the concrete building color. This fence enclosure would
be placed in a position as to allow good traffic flow.
* The remaining parking lot area will allow 50 -60 retail customer
vehicles to park in front, side and rear lots. We will average only 20
retail customer vehicles per day for our business.
Our employee vehicles and company delivery trucks will require 10 to
1 5 parking stalls in the rear parking lot. Our employees would enter the
building thru the double glass doors located on the back side of the
building.
Page 6
