CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96 -6- <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR THE METROPOLITAN <br />LIVABLE COMMUNITIES ACT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1996 <br />WHEREAS, <br />The Metropolitan Livable Communities Act (1995 Minnesota Laws <br />Chapter 255) establishes a Metropolitan Livable Communities Fund <br />which is intended to address housing and other development issues <br />facing the metropolitan area defined by Minnesota Statutes <br />Section 473.121; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />The Little Canada City Council adopted Resolution No 95 -9 -204 <br />electing to participate in the Local Housing Incentives Account <br />Program under the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act; and, <br />WHEREAS, <br />The Little Canada City Council adopted Resolution no. 96-6 - <br />adopting a Housing Action Plan to guide the City's Housing <br />related activities through the year 2010, in conjunction with the <br />Local Housing Incentives Account Program under the Metropolitan <br />Livable Communities Act. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Little Canada <br />hereby elects to continue participation in the Local Housing <br />Incentives Account Program under the Metropolitan Communities Act <br />during the calendar year 1996. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota this 26th day of June, 1996. <br />Attest: <br />Michael I.
