Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaVaile
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Staff is recommending to the City Council the adoption of the
attached resolutions calling for preparation of feasibility
studies for the following projects:
* Arcade Street between Keller Parkway and County Road D
to consist of roadway reconstruction including
installation of curb and gutter and storm drainage
improvements. It would also include the installation
of water main from Keller Parkway to LaBore Road. (The
City of Maplewood will also need to be involved from
Keller Parkway to LaBore Road given our common city
boundaries.) This is a Municipal State Aid project and
is part of Ramsey County's turnback program.
* Australian Avenue from Lake Shore Avenue to its
termination to the west consisting of roadway
reconstruction including curb and gutter and storm
drainage improvements.
* Bluwood Avenue from Lake Shore Avenue to its
termination to the west consisting of roadway
reconstruction and including curb and gutter and storm
drainage improvements.
* East Brooks Avenue from the west line of Morrison to
the east line of Savage Lane consisting of roadway
reconstruction including the installation of curb and
gutter and storm drainage improvements.
These improvements are consistent with those planned in the 1996
budget (copies attached) and have subsequently been verified by
the Public Works Director and myself. We feel these improvements
are necessary to maintain the integrity of our roadway system.
It should also be noted that relative to the Arcade Street
project, improvements to Ditch 7A have been contemplated.
