City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Ordinance <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1006 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, <br />KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, BY ESTABLISHING PROVISIONS FOR <br />THE LOCATION AND DESIGN OF LOCAL AND DEAD -END STREETS. <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 1006.030 (b)is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(b) Local Streets and Dead -End Streets. Local streets should <br />be planned so as to discourage their use by non -local <br />traffic. Dead -end streets are prohibited, but cul -de- <br />sacs shall be peLmitted where topography or other <br />physical conditions justify their use. Cul -de -sacs shall <br />not be longer than five hundred (500) feet, including a <br />terminal turn - around which shall be provided at the <br />closed end, with a right -of -way radius of not less than <br />fifty (50) feet. <br />Section 2. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />Michael I.
