If <br />this is approved, it would require a variance procedure for <br />living space to encroach into the require yard. <br />Current Code allows Decks a 5 foot side yard setback and a 10 <br />foot rear yard setback. Living space has a 10 foot side yard <br />setback and a 30 foot rear yard setback. <br />Vadnais Heights - <br />In Vadnais Heights decks have the same setbacks as living space, <br />and are not allowed to encroach into required setbacks without a <br />variance. Setbacks are 10 feet on the side yard and 25 feet for <br />the rear yard. <br />Page 31 <br />
