The Administrator reported that the City's Web <br />Master is researching the various broadcast options as well as type of <br />information that would be of interest to residents. <br />The City Administrator then reviewed his memo dated April 3, 2006 <br />which provides background and commentary on the balance of the goals <br />listing from the 2006 Goal Setting Session. Council reviewed the list <br />commenting as follows: <br />With regard to seeking RFP's for professional services, the Council <br />directed the City Administrator to discuss the cost of professional services <br />with some of his peers to ascertain, if possible, whether the level of costs <br />Little Canada's is incurring is comparable with that of other cities. <br />hi reviewing the development of a long-term plan for completion of the <br />City's water system, LaValle suggested that the Public Works <br />Superintendent contact the owners of Terrace Heights Mobile Home Park <br />to determine their interest and the feasibility of connecting the park to City <br />water. <br />In discussing the televising of Parks & Recreation Commission meetings, <br />this matter will be scheduled on the next Commission meeting agenda for <br />discussion with the suggestion that the Commission Yry a meeting or two <br />before making a final decision. <br />The Council discussed the re-establishment of a Community Pride <br />Committee. They directed Che City Administrator to include an Cuticle in <br />the next City newsletter informing residents that the City would like to re- <br />establish the committee and asking for volunteers. <br />In reviewing the suggestion Chat Che correction worker program be <br />expanded, the Council was informed that the program is at capacity and <br />there are no additional crews available at this time. <br />The Parks & Recreation Director pointed out that in reconfiguring the Old <br />Fire Hall skating complex, the Parks & Recreation Commission is <br />considering expanding the facility with a skateboard park. The Little <br />Canada Recreation Association will be approached about possible funding <br />of this expansion. <br />The Council reviewed the suggested goal of revitalizing appearance of <br />35E/Little Canada Road and replacing the cyclone freeway fence.
