Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
The city has recently acquired 34 Little Canada Road due to tax
forfeiture and will designate this property as "open space" per
the requirements of the Comprehensive Plan.
Prior to going tax forfeit, this property was condemned by the
city as a "hazardous property" and significant costs were
incurred in the Interim Construction Fund as follows:
Disposal Systems (demolition) $ 3,920.00
Sweeney, Borer & Ostrow (legal) 9,804.00
Press Publications (notices) 24.44
$13,748.44
Now that this land has been acquired by the city, funds should be
transferred to the Interim Construction Fund to cover these
costs. I would recommend that these funds come from either the
General Capital Improvement Fund or the Park Acquisition Fund.
Please give me your thoughts on the matter and I will process the
necessary transfers at the end of August.
/jm
Page 115
