Hanson <br />RE: Recommendation on Potential Park Usage of Ruth Street <br />Property <br />During the September 5, 1996 Parks and Recreation Commission <br />meeting, the commission moved to recommend we release our <br />interest in the Lake Street property. The commission stated <br />their reasons were as related in the May 3, 1996 memo to Mayor <br />Fahey and Members of the City Council: <br />■ The parcel is low, wet and isolated. <br />■ The parcel of land does not fit into the park master plan. <br />Page 37 <br />
