Page Two <br />Model Adoptive Ordinance <br />B. Mandatory Appendices. In addition to those items listed above, the <br />following Appendices, Standards and Supplemental Materials referenced in the <br />Code are hereby adopted by reference as part of the Building Code in <br />(City /County/Township) of (municipality) and incorporated into this ordinance <br />as completely as if set out in full. <br />(1.) Minnesota State Building Code, Technical Requirements for <br />Fallout Shelters, Minnesota Rules Chapter 1330. <br />(2.) Minnesota State Building Code, Variations in Snow Loads, <br />Minnesota Rules Chapter 1365. <br />(3.) 1982 Uniform Building Code Appendix Chapter 35. <br />(4.) Minnesota Plumbing Cede, Minnesota Rules 4715.3900 - 4715.4100. <br />C. Optional Appendices. The following Appendices, Standards and <br />Supplemental Materials are not a mandatory part of the Code but are adopted by <br />reference for the (City /County/lt*mship) of (Municipality) and are <br />incorporated, without change, into this ordinance as completely as if set out <br />in full. <br />(1.) Minnesota State Building Code, Abbreviations and address of <br />Technical Organizations, Minnesota Rules 1300.2000. <br />(2.) 1982 UBC Appendix, Chapters 1, 7, 38, 55 and 70. <br />(3.) Minnesota Plumbing Code, Minnesota Rules 4715.3500 - 4715.3800. <br />(4.) Flood Proofing Regulations, Minnesota Rules Chapter 1335. <br />(5.) Minnesota State Building Code, Building Security, Minnesota <br />Rules Chapter 1310. <br />(6.) Minnesota State Building Code, Optional Automatic Fire <br />Suppression Systems, Minnesota Rules 1300.1150. <br />Section 2. Organization and Enforcement. The organization of the <br />Building Department and enforcement of the Code shall be as established by <br />Chapter 2 of the Uniform Building Cade 1982 Edition. The Code shall be <br />enforced within the incorporated limits of the (city /county /township), and <br />extraterritorial limits permitted by Minnesota Statutes, 1984. <br />The Department shall be the Building Code Department of the <br />u <br />(City /Ca ty/itunship) of (Municipality). The Administrative Authority shall <br />be a State Certified "Building Official ". <br />The Appointing Authority shall designate the Building Official for the <br />jurisdiction of (name) <br />31 <br />
