LASSOCIATES, IN
sulling Engineers land Survgorsy
F■ I 1:1 Zi
500 West Highway 96
APR 11 1985 St. Paul, Minnesota 55112
484 -3301
CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
City Council
City of Little Canada
515 E. Little Canada Rd.
Little Canada, MiRn, 55117
April 11, 1985
RE: Section 5 Street Plan
Dear Council Members & Planning Commission
We are enclosing a letter with rough sketches of some alternate street
plans for the area currently under the moratorium in Section 5.
All of the plans shown are Based primarily on the premise that these
properties might develop individually.
If one or two individuals gain control of all the property they would
undboubtedly have other more attractive plans in mind.
The letter waswritten prior to the regular council meeting of April 10 th.
The subject again was brought up, this time with the proposal to
investigate the area for future softball fields.
We are instructed to provide what information we could after consulting
with Mr. James Morelan. As a result we are attaching additional sketches
relating to the softball fields for which we understand there is a
desire to have four or five eventually,
The first page shows the dimensions of a field and the required area
The second page shows the area under consideration. There are only two
parcels large enough to accomodate the four or five fields. The other
parcels would have to be combined to accomplish the same thing,
The third page shows the pond on the Bibeau property which will be
significant in the overall drainage plan for the area which was, also
authorized by the Council
We will he happy to answer questions about any of this material.
Yours truly,
MIL R W l > pSOC; INC,
lIIt r
Donald 0.
