Five <br />were sent out. The quotes which came back were from Woodchuck <br />Tree Service, Gorecki & Company (formerly Midwest Stump Removal), <br />and Precision Landscaping (the tree contractor for the last five <br />years in Little Canada). <br />Precision again had the lowest bid. There total was $5,085.70. <br />The next closest was Woodchuck at $5,895. Gorecki & Company <br />was last at $7,410. <br />The owner of Precision told me they are operating on a 4% profit <br />margin. They are very difficult to beat when bidding jobs. I <br />think the City is fortunate to have such a low -cost and yet <br />extremely professional crew working for them. I ask you to again <br />hire them as your City tree contractor.
