Chlebeck
Clerk- Treasurer
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Mr. Chlebeck:
SCHOOL BOARD
Gary L. Trifle, Chairman
Joanne M. Cushman, Clerk
John E. Duncan, Treasurer
Dennis R. Linden, Director
Lois S. Runyon, Director
Sue M. Cummings, Director
Dr. Lloyd C. Nielsen
Superintendent
As per our recent conversation, it is the intent of the School Board,
following a final determination of the future use of buildings in
the District, to proceed to review long -range plans concerning
unoccupied sites. Included in that review will be the determination
of whether to continue holding in reserve the Little Canada site,
or of disposing of the property by sale or long -term lease. The
plat plan which the School District had drawn up a number of years
ago, when the usage of the site for park purposes by the City of
Little Canada was first granted, was for the purpose of providing
guidance to the City in their investment in improvements to minimize
relocation of park facilities in the event that the land were eventually
needed for a school purpose.
Until such time as the long -range plan on record is modified by
Board action, the map should continue to be of assistance to the
City in making its plans. I would anticipate the review of the
long -range plan referred to above would be carried out at some time
during the next six months.
Sincerely,
> (
Lloyd C.
