i J - ... <br />NEMORANDUM <br />T0: Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: James Vick <br />DATE: 1 September 1983 <br />RE: Speedy Market - CUP <br />FILE N0: 758.09 - 83.35 <br />BACKGROUND <br />A report from our office dated 25 August 1983 evaluated the expansion of <br />Speedy Market. The original site plan had some problems with parking <br />arrangements and site circulation. A revised site plan has been submitted. <br />The proposed expansion has not changed, but the site plan has been re- <br />arranged to address the conditions listed in the preliminary report. <br />ISSUES AND ANALYSIS <br />The original site plan required the following changes in the parking <br />arrangement: <br />The perimeter curb and parking at the south end of the lot <br />is moved five feet from the lot line. <br />Angle parking is eliminated north of the building. <br />17 parking stalls are provided. <br />The revised parking, while a considerable improvement from the original site plan, <br />will require a few minor changes. <br />Parking. Near the loading dock, the lot has some grade problems which make <br />it unsuitable for parking. The two parking stalls located north of the <br />building should be shifted eight feet to the west. Since parallel parking' <br />along a wall is not practical for vehicles with passengers, these stalls <br />should be designated for employee parking only <br />Parking kept as an access <br />shown n northwest <br />aisle.
