Approval <br />Of The <br />Minutes <br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />October 10, 1985 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 10th day of October, 1985 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at7:38 P.M. and <br />the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Mr. Peter Costa <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Bill Davison <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />Mr. Thomas Perlinger <br />Mrs. Karolyn Kingsbury <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Planner, Mr. Steve Crittman <br />Recording Secretary, Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />Mr. Thomas Ducharme <br />Mr. Roy French <br />Mrs. Sharon Timmons <br />Mr. Pete Costa indicated that the minutes of the September. 12 meeting <br />shall be approved as read. <br />Sinclair Mr. Ray Johnson, District Manager of Sinclair Marketing, appeared before <br />Service the Commission requesting approval for the addition of a convenience <br />Station store at their site on Little Canada Road. Johnson reported that they <br />.would remodel the inside of the station to make room for the store. <br />Johnson reported that there is ample room for the store and also <br />reported that new gas pumps would be installed on the site, which would <br />be self - service. Johnson then explained the parking plans for the site. <br />Mr. DeLonais asked if Sinclair planned to enlarge the building. Johnson <br />replied that they did not. However, there would be extensive remodeling <br />done on the inside of the building. <br />Mr. Costa asked if there were plans for changing the drive -way system <br />at the site in conjunction with the Little Canada bridge project. Johnson <br />replied that there are no plans for changing the drive -way and pointed <br />out that the bridge project will not effect their property. The entrance <br />to the freeway will be moved further to the east and this will help the <br />situation at the entrance /exit to the station. <br />Mr. Davison commented on the parking spaces planned for the east side <br />of the property along the freeway. Davison pointed out that it appeared <br />there was not enough room to drive around the building when these spaces <br />would be occupied. <br />Page -1- <br />
