MINUTES <br />City Council <br />(2, Oct. 24, 1984 <br />Ducharme/ <br />Brausen <br />Property <br />(Cont.) <br />Additional <br />Truck <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 19 <br />Grievance <br />Procedures <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 22 <br />The City Clerk stated that he did not think that the people in the area <br />wanted to give the additional right -of -way necessary. <br />Mrs. Scalze pointed out that there could be two or three lots <br />developed in the area. <br />Mr. Hanson felt that this should be considered a private driveway. <br />Hanson felt that the property owner was paying taxes on the property <br />and should be able to develop the property. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that there could be many similar cases in the <br />City where people would want to develop the backs of their property <br />with private driveways. Forsberg pointed out that a road in the area <br />would make other property developable. <br />Hanson pointed out that the property owner in question does not own <br />35 of the property and, therefore, cannot petition for a public <br />hearing on the improvement. <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that the property owner will have to pursue the matter <br />with the neighbors. <br />The Planner suggested that the property owner come in during staff <br />hours and he would review the situation with her. <br />Mr. Forsberg reported that the Public 'Yorks Superintendent would like <br />to keep the matter of the additional truck tabled for the moment. <br />The City Clerk reported that a requirement of revenue sharing is that the <br />City adopt grievance procedures for handicapped as outlined in Council <br />correspondence. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -10 -499 - ADOPTING THE GRIEVANCE <br />PROCEDURES FOR HANDICAPPED AS REQUIRED BY REVENUE <br />SHARING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Page 512. <br />.1v <br />Page -15- <br />
