Approval <br />Of The <br />Minutes <br />Goff <br />Construction <br />Rezoning & <br />Conditional <br />Use Permit <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />January 9, 1986 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 9th day of January, 1986 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and <br />the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Peter Costa <br />Mr. Bill Davison <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />Mr. Thomas Perlinger <br />Mrs. Peggy Schweizer <br />Mrs. Sharon Timmons <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Roy French <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, Planner <br />Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Mr. Costa indicated that the minutes of the December meeting were <br />approved as read. <br />Mr. Pat Goff of 1278 E. County Road C in Maplewood, appeared before <br />the Commission requesting a rezoning of between 19 and 2.0 acres of <br />R -1 property located south of County Road O and east of Arcade Street <br />to R -2 PUD Conditional Use Permit for the construction of condominiums. <br />Goff explained the location of the property and pointed out that the <br />south 165 feet consists of NSP easement and the northeast corner <br />has Ditch 7 running through it. <br />Goff plans to develop the property located on the west side of the <br />ditch. <br />The plans call for 19 6 -unit condo buildings, or 114 units, with <br />attached garages. The exterior of the buildings would be aluminum <br />and brick. The buildings would consist of 4 upstair units and 2 <br />downstairs. There are attached garages for each of the units. <br />Goff reported that the units would be marketed individually. Mr. <br />Goff is also developing similar structures in Vadnais Heights, <br />Maplewood and Roseville. <br />Page -1- <br />
