MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />June 12, 1986 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 12th day of June, 1986 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />and the following members were present at roll call:., <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Peter Costa, Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Thomas Perlinger <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />Sharon Timmons <br />Also Present: Steve Grittnan, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />Approval There being no corrections to the May 8, 1986 Planning Commission <br />Of The minutes, the minutes were approved as submitted. <br />Minutes <br />Hardees <br />There being no corrections to the May 14, 1986 Special Planning <br />Commission meeting, the minutes were approved as submitted. <br />Mr. Ed Hasek, Dalgren, Shardlow and Uban, Consulting Planners and <br />Landscape Architects, representing Hardees, appeared before the <br />Commission. Mr. Hasek reported that his firm was contacted to <br />try to resolve the City's concerns with.regard to the Hardees' <br />proposal. <br />Hasek reported that he has been in contact with the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation on this proposal regarding concerns <br />of access onto Rice Street. A letter from the Department of <br />Transportation is contained in the Planning Commission's agenda. <br />Hasek then reviewed the recommendations of the City Planner. <br />Hasek reported that Hardees will comply with all the recommendations <br />of the Planner with the exception of #1 and #2. <br />Hasek stated that with regard to the access question, they have <br />the input from MM DOT and based on this input and the analysis <br />of Janes Benshoof of Benshoof & Associates, Inc. transportation <br />planning and engineering consultants, also hired by the developers, <br />Hardees feels that the plan as submitted is appropriate and will <br />.best serve the entire property. <br />Page -1- <br />
