MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 22, 1985 <br />Zilge /DeBace <br />(Cont.) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -5 -234 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE ZILGE / DeBACE PROPOSAL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 235. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -5 -235 - TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />ZILGE /DeBACE PROPOSAL FOR TWO WEEKS, UNTIL THE <br />JUNE 12, 1985 COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Nardini, Fahey, Collova. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 236. <br />Sofie /Peterson Mr. Fahey opened the public hearing on the Sofie /Peterson plat which <br />Plat would run from just south of County Road D and end in a cul -de -sac <br />north of LaBore Road. The road would be serviced from Allen Avenue. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 7 <br />Mr. Greg Nosko, representing the plat, appeared before the Council. <br />Mr. Nosko stated that the Park Commission is requesting 325 feet of <br />property and Nosko stated that this is over the 10% park charge as <br />outlined in City Code. Mrs. Scalze stated that the park plan proposed <br />is based on a 1981 park plan on file in the City Center. <br />Mr. Fahey pointed out that the proposal was recommended for approval <br />by the Planning Commission with the two cul -de -sacs on the north and <br />south and subject to the Planner's report. The Planner is recommending <br />that the Engineer review the cul -de -sac lengths and that a variance <br />is necessary for one of the cul -de -sacs. Also, the relocation of <br />County ditch #7 is being recommended. <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that the Allen Avenue thoroughfare plan went on <br />record along with the 1981 Park Plan. Scalze stated that the Park <br />Commission assumed that the property owners in the area are aware of <br />this 1981 plan. <br />Mr. Fahey asked why the plat does not make provision for access to <br />LaBore Road on the south. Mr. Nosko stated that he would like to <br />provide this, but Messrs. Sofie and Peterson are against it as they <br />do not want to move. <br />Page -5- <br />48 <br />
