Approval Of The Minutes Hardees „I."JT'CS O TAT REGULAR "«TI`!C °LArlulrlG Cnmi SSIn'1 LITTLE C.AUAOA, '1Ii'r.ir.SOTA April 10, 10:OG Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, minnesota was held on the 10th day of April, 1955 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members were present at roll call: MEMBERS pR ^SF_NT: Peter Costa, Chairman Rill Davison Gene DeLonais Art Herkenhoff - arrived 7:36 P.''.. Thomas Perlinger Peggy Schweizer mR.M3c2S ABSENT: Sharon Timons ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittr,an, City Planner Bill Rlesener, Councilman Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary There being no corrections of the minutes of the ''larch 13, 1p26 Planning Commission sleeting, Mr. Costa indicated that the minutes are approved as read. There was no one present to represent the Oardees development proposal. Saxon Mr. Steve Lanik, architect, and Ir. Bruce Engelsnan, representing Bowling Kraus- Anderson, were present to submit the proposal for addition Alley to the Saxon 3owling Alley and to request approval of a sideyard Expansion setback variance. Mr. Lanik explained the proposal outlining plans for 1andscaoinq, lighting, curbing, walkways and a new entrance. Lanik explained that the addition will house 3 additional howling lanes as well as a bar with separate entrance and kitchen facilities. There was no one from the audience wishing to comment on the proposal. Mr. Lanik also reported that parking criteria has been met. Lanik was also agreeable to 'meeting the recommendations of the 'City Planner. Lanik explained that the variance is needed for the new addition to keep the bowling ecuiprient in line with existing equipment. It was also pointed out that the street adjacent to the bowling alley, went in after the bowling alley was built. Dace -1-
