'Little Canada Mayor and City Council
21 April 1986
Page Two
5. A major issue which must be addressed is the location of additional uses
on the site. The northern -most area of the site is utilized by open storage
sheds which are accessed from the Johnson Rice complex to the north of North-
western Bell. The second use on site sits to the east of the Northwestern
Bell building. If the bingo building's parking lot is curbed, as required,
this use will have to gain access via the Market Place driveways. In any
case, a planned unit development will be required to allow any further use
of the site.
With the great intensification of use of the site, the unrestrained circulation
becomes a major concern. We would recommend careful consideration of any required
site improvements under the PUD process. It should be noted that while the
charitable gambling license may be approved, the City will continue to retain
zoning and land use controls relating to possible future site plan approval.
cc: Joe Chlebeck
Tom Sweeney
John Palacio
Tom Short
-- 18
