MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 22, 2026 <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Kwapick asked residents to bring a non-perishable food item to the Ice Cream Social for <br />donation. <br />Miller stated that the Cable Commission meeting for this month was canceled, with a workshop <br />scheduled for August. He stated that there will also be a food drive during the parade for <br />residents who are not attending the Ice Cream Social. He stated that there will also be QR codes <br />available for those who want to make monetary donations. <br />Malone commented that the following day she will be attending a Board meeting for NYFS. <br />Mayor Fischer reported on a recent ribbon cutting event he participated in and encouraged <br />residents to visit Ralph's Rib Crib and to frequent other businesses along the construction <br />corridor to support them. He also provided an update on the recent meetings for the Regional <br />Council of Mayors, the nine cities, Little Canada Fire Relief, Condit open house, and Little Canada <br />Historical Society. <br />The City Administrator commented that Canadian Days is coming up, noting that the event is run <br />by a nonprofit, volunteer organization. He encouraged residents to thank volunteers at the <br />events.
