EXHIBIT A <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW REHABILITATION <br />CENTERS AS CONDITIONAL USES IN B -3, B -W, AND I -1 ZONING DISTRICTS. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Municipal Code of Little Canada, Section 902 is hereby amended <br />by adding the following: <br />121.2 Rehabilitation Center: A state licensed facility that offers <br />vocational and physical training to mentally or physically <br />disabled people. <br />Section 2. The Municipal Code of Little Canada, Section 912.040 is hereby <br />amended by adding the following: <br />912.040. Conditional Uses. (Requires a conditional use permit based upon <br />procedures set forth in and regulated by Section 921 of this <br />Ordinance.) <br />E. Rehabilitation Centers <br />1. All rehabilitation centers must have an active license <br />from the Minnesota Department of Welfare. <br />2. No overnight facilities are provided for the patron <br />served. Patrons are delivered and removed daily. <br />3. Adequate off- street parking and access is provided in <br />in compliance with Section 90.3.'050 of this Ordinance. <br />4. The site and related parking and service shall be served <br />by an arterial or collector street of sufficient capacity <br />to accommodate the traffic which will be generated. <br />5. All signing and informational or visual communication <br />devices shall be in compliance with Section 903.110 of this <br />Ordinance. <br />6. The provisions of Section 921.010, C of this Ordinance are <br />considered and satisfactorily met. <br />Section 3. The Municipal Code of Little Canada, Section 913.040 is hereby <br />amended by adding the following: <br />21 <br />
