Approval <br />Of The <br />Minutes <br />Aspen <br />Grove <br />Addition <br />Text <br />Amendment <br />Landscape <br />Maintenance <br />In B -3 Areas <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />August 14, 1986 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice there of a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 13th day of August, 1986 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene DeLonais, Acting Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Thomas Perlinger <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />Sharon Timmons <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the July 10, 1986 <br />Planning Commission meeting, Mr. DeLonais indicated that the <br />minutes will stand approved as read. <br />Mr. Pat Goff presented the final plat of Aspen Grove Addition. <br />Goff reported that there were no changes from the preliminary <br />plat and that he has worked out the drainage with the City <br />Engineer, and ponding with NSP. Goff was also agreeable to <br />dedicating the outlot to the City. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended approval of the Aspen Grove Addition <br />final plat as presented. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Perlinger. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />The Planner submitted to the Commission a proposed text amendment <br />allowing landscape maintenance businesses as a conditional use in <br />a B -3 district. The Planner reported that there are two businesses <br />applying for conditional use permits if this text amendment is <br />approved. <br />The Planner stated that his report says that this use really isn't <br />in line with a B -3 district, but more suited to industrial zoning <br />or a Bl4 district. The Planner is recommending that the text <br />amendment not be approved. <br />
