Mi nutes <br />MINUTES Or THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COM•1ISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />November 13, 1935 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 13th day of November, 1986 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. <br />and the following members mere present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene DeLonais, Acting Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Thomas Perlinger <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />Sharon Timmons <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Peter Costa, Chairman <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittrnan, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the October 9, 1925 <br />Planning Commission meeting, Mr. DeLonais indicated that the minutes <br />will stand approved as read. <br />McCulloch Mr. Ray McCulloch appeared before the Commission requesting a <br />Conditional conditional use permit in order to remodel the downstairs of his <br />Use Permit building at 2616 Rice Street into a gymnasium for the Karate Studio <br />currently occupying a portion of the building. <br />The Planner reported that he has not received the site plans for <br />this proposal and, therefore, has not prepared a report. The <br />Planner stated that he needs to review the parking layout as well <br />as plans for removal of the existing garage doors on the lower level. <br />The Planner did not feel that there would be a problem with the <br />proposal, however, the site plan needs to be attached to the <br />PUD agreement on this property which also needs to be amended to <br />reflect the changes. <br />DeLonais asked about the access to the back of the property. <br />McCulloch reported that the back of the property is accessed from <br />County Road C by a road easement. McCulloch further reported that <br />the Karate Studio utilizes the rear parking on the site, while the <br />tanning business uses the parking in the front of the building. <br />The developer reported that there are currently five parking spaces <br />in the rear of the building. <br />Page -1- <br />
