Within 30 days, provide at least a one hour tire resistive protection for <br />the furnace rooms located in the lower level, pursuant to: <br />Minn. Stat. §299F.011 (1974)• <br />Minn. Rule FireMar 31. <br />MUFC Sec. 1.216, as amended by Minn. Rule FireMar 33(o). <br />NFPA No. 101, Sec. 8 -1731 (a) and (b), which states: <br />"Rooms containing high pressure boilers, refrigerating machinery of <br />other than domestic refrigerator type, large transformers or other <br />service equipment subject to possible explosion shall not be located <br />directly under ar adjacent to required exits. All such rooms shall be <br />effectively cut off from other parts of the building by construction <br />having not leas than a 1 -hour fire resistance rating." <br />(b), "All openings between the balanne of the building and rooms or <br />enclosures for hazardous operations or processes shall be protected <br />by standard self - closing or automatic fire doors and shall be provided <br />with adequate vents to the outer air, in accordance with Section 6 -5 <br />of this Code." <br />5. Within 60 days, provide at least a one hour fire resistive protection <br />for the storage room in lower level, pursuant to: <br />Minn. Stat. §299F.011 (1974). <br />Minn. Rule FireMar 31. <br />MUFC Sec. 1.216, as amended by Minn. Rule FireMar 33(o). <br />NFPA No. 101, Sec. 8 -1731 (c), which states: <br />"All rooms or areas used for storage of any combustible materials or <br />equipment, or for painting, refinishing, repair, or similar purposes <br />shall be effectively cut off from assembly areas in accordance with <br />Section 6 -5 or protected with a system of automatic sprinklers.
