Rice, Little Canada, MN 55113 <br />Street Address, City, State, Zip Code <br />ORDER <br />Pursuant to the authority vested in me by statute, you and each of you upon <br />whom this order is served are hereby ordered within the prescribed time to: <br />1. Immediately, all exterior exit doors shall be unlocked from the inside <br />at all times the facility is occupied, pursuant tol, <br />Minn. Stat. §299F.011 (1974). <br />iii nn. RLle FireMar 31. <br />Minnesota Uniform Fire Code (MUFC) Sec. 10.104,(b), which states: <br />':I:11 doors in or leading to exits shall be maintained openable from the <br />inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort at <br />all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied." <br />2. Within 30 daysl discontinue the use of extension cords throughout the <br />building and have an approved electrical inspector inspect for compliance, <br />pursuant tc: <br />Minn. Stat. f :29Y".011 (1974). <br />Minn. I:ule Fire:'ar 31. <br />INFC Se;,. 27.401, (a) and (b), which states: <br />"It shall be unlawful to maintain any electrical wiring appliance, <br />apparatus or device in violation of the Electrical Code." <br />(b) When any hazardous electrical installation is brought to the attention <br />of the Chief, he shall notify the authority enforcing the Electrical <br />Code, and may order use of such installation discontinued immediately." <br />3. Within 5 days, remove all combustible material located at the southeast <br />side of the building, pursuant to: <br />Minn. Stat. §299F.011 (1974). <br />Minn. Rule FireMar 31. <br />MUFC Sec. 27.201 (a), which states: <br />"Accumulations of wastepaper, hay, grass, straw, weeds, litter or com- <br />bustible or flammable waste, waste petroleum products, or rubbish of <br />any hind shall not be permitted to remain upon any roof or in any court, <br />yard, vacant lot or open space.
