ask Xcel for an estimate and convey this information to the property <br />owners. <br />Richard Bohn, 375 Rose Lane, asked if the road will remain at the same <br />height. The City Engineer reported that the project will take the hill out as <br />much as possible while still ensuring that driveways work. <br />The Facente's again stated their opposition Co the project. An indication <br />from those present showed about half the property owners in attendance <br />were opposed to the project while about half were in support. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment on this improvement. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Keis, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-I-2 -ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. <br />2006-OI, MORRISON STREET, AND IMPROVEMENT NO. 2006-04, <br />ROSE LANE, AS WELL AS THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />IMP. Mayor Blesener opened the Improvement Hearing for Savage Lane from <br />HEARING- Sextant Avenue to the cul-de-sac by street reconstruction, concrete curb <br />SAVAGE LANE and gutter, and drainage enhancements. <br />The City Engineer reviewed the Project History reporting that under the <br />pavement management rating system, Savage lane rated 45 points out of a <br />possible 100. Savage Lane from Sextant to Rose Place is a rural section <br />road with a 26 to 27 foot pavement width. There is concrete cur on the <br />west side and rural ditch drainage on the east side excluding Demont to <br />Rose which has bituminous curb. Savage from rose Place to the cul-de- <br />sac is a 28-foot urban section road with surmountable concrete curb. <br />There is existing water main and sanitary sewer along the length of the <br />road. <br />The Engineer reported that Savage Lane from Sextant to Demont is <br />proposed to be reconstructed as a rural section, 14-foot, one-way street. <br />
