• <br />COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION <br />1. Name of Community Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />2. Name of Local Contact Person Joseph G. Chlebeck; City Clerk <br />484 -2177 <br />Telephone Number <br />3. Work Program <br />Outline the major tasks and the total costs of those tasks which must be undertaken in order to prepare or update the community's <br />comprehensive plan according to its systems statement, and prepare and adopt its Official Controls. The outline should follow the <br />format shown on the back of this application form. <br />Due to the Lack of any existing comprehensive plan; a total effort will be required to formulate <br />the land use planning element costs for this activity is estimated at $9,000. Detailed facilities <br />plans are viewed as nearly complete with the exception of parks and open space., $3,500 has <br />been allocated tot his portion of the program. The major implementation program item will be <br />official controls. Other items are not seen as major. $6,500 has been budget. Adoption of <br />controls is estimated at $3,000. <br />4. Completion Date <br />October 1979 . <br />Estimated completion date of the Work Program <br />5. Previous Planning <br />Indicate whether this work program reflects the cost of updating a previously prepared plan and, if so, describe to what extent the <br />plan(s) will be utilized in developing the community's Comprehensive Plan. <br />The only prior planning work completed by the City involves engineering elements for sewer, <br />water, transportation, etc. These detailed facilities plans will-be fully tuilized and updated <br />as needed. Work in this regard is seen as minor, existing development control will be utilized <br />as a basis for implementation requirements. Major revisions are envisioned as necessary. <br />6. Outside Assistance <br />List amounts and sources of outside assistance. <br />- NONE <br />7. Special Fund Requests <br />If the community wishes to apply for a portion of the Special Fund: (1) describe the existing or proposed metropolitan feature or <br />activity that exists within or near your community that increases the total cost to the community of preparing or updating its • <br />comprehensive plan relative to other communities; (2) document as best as possible how the feature or activity relates to the funding <br />criteria (V C 3 of the Guidelines) and how it increases your con; and (3) state the amount requested and indicate where this amount <br />is reflected In the work program major task cost estimates. <br />- NONE - <br />8. - Grant Amount(s) Requested: <br />a.
