NOTICE <br />TO: Ramsey County Municipalities <br />FROM: Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department <br />Ken Simons, Tree Inspector <br />DATE: July 19, 1977 <br />RE: Open Burning Site for Disposal of Diseased Tree Wastes <br />A facility for the disposal of diseased tree wastes will be operated by a pri- <br />vate contractor at the Poplar Lake Open Space Site. The Open Space Site is <br />located in White Bear Township on County Road J (north county line) 1 -1/2 miles <br />east of Hodgson Road and 2 -3/4 miles west of I 35 -E (see attached maps). <br />The disposal site will be available to any person, municipality, government <br />agency or private contractor for the disposal of diseased tree waste and de- <br />bris, regardless of the place of origin. <br />The site will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (sullener <br />hours) Monday through Saturday (dependent upon use) Starting Monday, August 1, <br />1977. The entrance to the site is located on Turtle Lake Road, one - quarter <br />mile south of County Road J. <br />A drop charge or disposal fee of $1.47 per cubic yard (volume occupied by de- <br />bris while on transporting vehicle) will be collected at the entrance, or <br />arrangements can be made with the operating contractor to establish a charge <br />account. <br />The operator is L & B Tree Service Inc., 6795 - 20th Avenue South, Centerville, <br />Minnesota (426- 1615). <br />O P E N S P A C E S Y S T E M <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />520 COMMERCE BUILDING <br />ST.
