MINN. 65117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />July 7, 1977 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada was held on the 7th day of July, 1977, at 8:00 P.M. <br />at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members were present: Peter Costa, Virginia Fisher, <br />Margret Mitchell, Gene Delonais, Earl Rossez, Jack Radford, Dr. James <br />Keenan, Ralph Nardini, Joe Vitale,Jr. <br />The following members were absent: Dennis Ryan, Dick Boss III. <br />Minutes of the meeting in June were approved as read. <br />MONTREAL COURT <br />APARTMENTS: <br />Terry Strang <br />Gold Crown Prop, <br />New Owner <br />RESOLUTION TO <br />REZONE PROPERTY <br />ON RUTH ST. FROM <br />R -3 to R -1 <br />Sidewalks throughout the property. <br />Office will be in the indoor pool area, and parking <br />by pool, not on grass. <br />Bids are being received for landscaping which is <br />set at $50,000. <br />Buildings will be repainted, trimmed in rustic brown. <br />Balconies will not be used for storage, etc. <br />Garage doors will be repaired. <br />Playground area is planned with all equipment. <br />Metropolitan Life Insurance is the lender and Bill <br />Larson and Terry Strang are their representatives. <br />Suggest to the Council to widen DeSoto and then have the <br />Montreal Court Apts. put in a sidewalk. <br />80 - 4" diameter trees, Red Maple or Mountain Ash <br />or a mixture of trees. Green shrubbery will be around <br />each entryway, also flowering crabs. <br />Each applicant will go through a credit check. If not <br />married, each person has to fill out a credit rating. <br />Jack Radford made a moting to accept the plans for <br />renovation of Montreal Courts. <br />Seconded by Virginia Fisher. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Schlecht was present. <br />Motion made to table until the Planning Commission <br />can look over the comprehensive plan. <br />Seconded by Ralph Nardint f, r. <br />Motion Carried. <br />
