(9) Where horizontal street lines within a block deflect from each other at any one point more than 10 degrees, there shall be a connecting curve. Streets shall be so aligned that jogs with centerline off-sets with less than 125 feet shall not be necessary. (Source: Ord. 60) 33. General Regulations 33.010. Protection of Natural Features. The Council reserves the right to decline approval of a subdivision if due regard is not shown for the pre- servation of all natural features such as large trees, water courses, scenic points, historical spots and similar community assets which, if preserved, will add attractive- ness, stability nd value to the property. 33,020. Dedication of Land for Parks. Pursuant to Minnesota Stat. 462.358, Subdivision 2, and because a development for residential uses creates an additional need for parks and recreation areas, the Council may require: (1) That the developer dedicate up to 10% of the area of the subdivision for park or recreation use. The 10% area so dedicated shall be suitable for park and recreation use. (2) In lieu of the dedication set forth in (1) above, and at the option of the Council, the developer shall pay the sum of $100.00 per lot to the Village, which shall be placed in a special fund for park and recreational use. Said amount. shall be deposited with the Village Clerk prior to approval of the final plat, and shall be refunded if the final plat is not approved. 33.030. Public Grounds to be Dedicated or.
